Royal Patent, Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land titles have by their decision awarded unto J.P. Parker, an estate in Fee Simple and hereafter described
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given Absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto J.P. Parker, all those certain pieces of land situate at Kohala, in the Island of Hawaii, and described by surveyed boundaries, as follows:
The first lot, Aahulani iki is bounded thus
Commencing at rock marked + at makai North East corner of this land on Lae Alanui and running
South 85° 45' West 7 chains 60 8/12 feet along land called Puniole to stake at Northwest corner of this land; thence
South 10° West 8 chains 47 ½ feet along Puniole nui to stake at mauka South West corner of this land; thence
South 87° 30' East 5 chains 4 ½ feet along Ahulani Nui to stake on top of west bank of river; angle; thence
North 75° 45' East 7 chains 18 ½ feet across river, up to stake on East ....
