Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land titles have by their decision awarded unto Mary Dowsett, an estate in Fee Simple in and to the land hereafter described
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given unto the said Mary Dowsett all that certain piece of land situate at Honolulu in the Island of Oahu, and described in surveyed boundaries, as follows:
Commencing at makai South corner of this lot, & old Bowling Alley joining Alx [Alexander] Adams and John Duke's premises, and running North 52° 30' West 1 chain 18 1/2 feet along John Duke's and Chinaman's house lots to makai West corner of this and old Bowling Alley; Thence
North 38° East 23 9/12 feet along street to North corner of old Bowling Alley; Thence
North 47° 3/4 East 1 chain 48 10/12 feet along street to W ....
