Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land titles have by their decision awarded unto Joseph Thomas, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas the Government has, in this case, relinquished the usual commutation for a Fee Simple Title.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given Absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto the said Joseph Thomas, Gratuitous all that certain piece of land situate at Waialua, in the Island of Oahu, and described in surveyed boundaries, as follows:
Beginning at corner of stick fence on West edge of River, joining Land called Lauopi and running North 48° 30' West 1 chain along fence to angle; Thence
North 79° 30' West 40 3/12 feet along fence to ang ....
