Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land at Waipao, an `ili of Mahaulepu. There are 14 lo`i; however, they are not all in one place. My land, which I have held from 20 years, was received from Hukiku, the Konohiki for Kaikioewa. I have 2 pahu taro*; one is just makai.
At Haukii I have a total of three lo`i¦two were from my wahine and one from my Kaikuaana, he is dead. At Kioea are eight scattered lo`i. A kula planted with wauke is at Kaualehu, it is a different `ili /received/ from Kaailaau ma. A kula planted with noni is at Keonehali. There are 7 mala which were from my makuas. Five lo`i were from the makuas to me. The salt /land/ is at Kawailoa, /and/ a sweet potato enclosure - one entire lot and a half of one.
At Paa is another sweet potato enclosure received from Hukiku, and a shrimp pit is at Keahikia, and my house lot is makai. There is also another house lot which adjoins my house lot. An orange tree is at Waipao. My land claims are ended.

Section 1 from his older brother (if referent is a male) and when he died it went to Nahuma during the time of Kaahumanau.
Section 2 from the father of his wife and when he died it went to the wife of Nahuma during the time of Kaahumanu.
Section 3 from his parent-in-law and when he died it went to Nahuma during the time of Kaumualii.
Section 4 from his older brother and when he died it went to Nahuma during the time of Kaahumanu.
Section 5 was a parcel without people. He took it and built a house lot for himself there.
Section 6, land cultivated without approval. No one gave him it. Some parts are cultivated but not all of it. It has not been recultivated now and there are some orange trees. Only five. No one has opposed him as of the present.
Section 7 from the parents of his wife during the time of Kaumualii down to the present.
Keahikuni witness I have heard the testimony of Kamalule concerning the land of Nahuma and it is true.
