Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in the Ahupua`a of Waialua on the Island of Molokai. The name of this `ili is Hookau. On the mauka side is the `ili of Ilahaole, for Kanakaole, on the makai side the `ili is Hookau 2, for Naio. This is taro land, 75 fathoms long by 5 fathoms wide. Pakaka, the konohiki of the land, gave me this claim. If this is found valid, kindly award my claim.
