Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I hereby explain my claim for land. Ilahoele 3, which lies in the Ahupua`a of Waialua, Molokai. Its dimension, from the lo`is to the kula are: the 12 lo`i are 3 chains on the south side, 4 chains 5 fathoms 1 yard on the north side, on the west side 3 chains 7 fathoms, 2 feet. Those are my own lo`i, there is 1 lo`i po`alima. 1 lo`i pue*, and two shared lo`i.

A portion of this land `jumps' on the south side - it is 2 chains, 6 fathoms by 0 chains 8 fathoms; however the place is not finished. On the east side is `jump' 2 ....
