I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles, my claim which is a mo`o in the `ili of Lahakea in the Ahupua`a of Ahaino on the Island of Molokai. There are some lo`is and their kula: the lo`i are 75 fathoms long and 7 fathoms wide. I have measured the kula and it is 152 fathoms long by 75 fathoms wide.
My house lot is 3 fathoms long by 22 fathoms wide. Those are my claims. The lands which adjoin are: Paele's land is on the south, Kanihomole is on the north. I have occupied this land for one year. Kanakaipo is the konohiki at present.

Moa, sworn, My knowledge of the boundaries of the land of Mahina is exactly the same as Kauhi has stated.
He received this land from Paele after the death of Kinau; this was perhaps the year 1840, and has had quiet and undisputed possession ever since. 2 lo`i of the konohiki are in this apana, but this land has become the Government's, and these lo`is were bartered for with the government land purchasing agent.
