I, the one whose name is below, thereby state to you the Commissioners to quiet land titles, my claim for my mo`o in Makea in the Ahupua`a of Kahananui, Island of Molokai. There are some lo`i and their kula. The lo`is are 55 fathoms in length, and the width on the south is 6 fathoms, the width on the north is 32 fathoms.

My kula and which I measured in 154 fathoms wide by 156 fathoms long ....
