No. 4613, Palapala
N.R. 10v7
Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Palapala, have an `ili named Kalama in the Ahupua`a of Honouliwai, Island of Molokai. This `ili has a kula. Kamama is mauka, Kalama 2 is makai, there is a stream on the south, and a pali on the north.
The former hawkeye`aina was Kaaua, and then it was Kaneeleele. The witnesses are the ones who go the po`alima work days here in Honouli. It has not been measured; there is no mountain area. It lied crookedly from the bank of the stream which is one boundary. I desire to enter this claim for you to consider, the Commissioners to quiet land titles, to secure it for myself.
Aloha to you all.
