Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a kihapai in the Ahupua`a of Moanui, Island of Molokai. The name is Kepani. Its length is 115 fathoms, its width is 100 fathoms. One side is 200 fathoms. See the diagram in the original letter. The land has been held from the time when Kamehameha I was alive, from the kapunas to my sisters and my makuas, and now it is held by me.
The witnesses: Kama, Kauhi, Kakauai, Kailio; These people are mature, old, gray-haired.
These are the konohikis I know of: Kapali, Kalokukumea, Luukia, Pi ....
