.... s;s decision long ago and lately it was in favor of Kailiakaale. Kamalii was not a konohiki, he was a tenant.
Kamalii has a separate claim from long ago which was enforced by the land officers. This place over which there is a dispute is not for him, so as to enable him to pass the land on the some other person.
Kailiakaale is the son-in-law of Kamalii, the daughter of Kamalii is the wife of Kailiakaale.
Kailiakaale, I had (first) lived on this place at the time of the disturbance with George Paullet, Kamalii gave me this place to cultivate and I have been there to this day. I did not obtain this place in 1839, I live here only under my father-in-law. The konohiki has some things on this place too.
Postponed: Until John Ii shall investigate and shall distribute between the two parties so that the konohiki may be separated.
