Here is the right, from whence mine comes, of Wahinemaikai and her makuahine, Maliuhi. My makuahine was living in the place of Ku. Wahinemaikai got this place where I am living by purchase from J.A. Kuakini, and this place became Wahinemaikai's. Wahinemaikai's former place, which is now occupied by Kaukaha ma, was where she lived with her former ka ....

At that time a portion of this property was taken for the road and I suggested to Kaneulupo to enclose his lot. It has been peaceful to this day, but Pio's place has all been used for the road. Paki was set to ask me for a new lot for Pio; how-ever, Pio said that he would live with Kaneulupo. Therefore, Paki dismissed the idea of asking me."
