To the Land Commissioners: I, Napunawai, am a native-born resident of Kawailoa. I have a right from Kahalau, and occupy these claims at this time.

The first is: Kanekuakua, Kawailoa Wane /Waena?/. There are sixteen lo`i, bounded by Kealohalo's /land/, and the pali and the road.

Second: Lokoea, Kawailoa kai. There are eight lo`i, bounded by Hokuaulani's /land/, and the muluwai.

Third: Haohao, Kawailoa kai. One pond, bounded by the sugarcane, and the road, and the coconut grove, and the pig pen, and a mala of gourd; it is surrounded by fence.

Fourth: Pahui, Ukoa, two mala of gourd.

Fifth: My right in the pond named Ukoa is for ....
