Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Lono, have an `ili, Punaokaohiki, in the Ahupua`a of Lupehu Two on the Island of Molokai. It is perhaps 15 chains long, by 7 fathoms wide. This `ili lies in the stream valley, long and also crooked; an `ili adjoins on the north, a pali, also is on one side, and an `ili named Pohakuloa is on the makai side.

This is taro land, also kula. This kula runs as far as the seashore, that is its makai boundary. The name of this kula land is Kohekahuna, and there is also a mountain area named Maunawai.
With resect to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles of the Hawaiian Islands.
