I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles, that I have an 'ili, in the ku of Kaunaula in the Ahupua'a of Mapulehu. The name of that 'ili is Kahakakaumoa.
The names of the adjoining lands are: Puukoae for Hua on the east, Kapalua for Wawae on the west. I have occupied this land from the time of Kamehameha I. It lies from the seashore to the mountain.
I have a claim for a house lot at Kulahulu, in the 'ili of Kahaule in the Ahupua'a of Mapulehu. It is 15 fathoms long by 10 fathoms wide. Those are my ....

No. 3798, Leonui vs. Kahaule
Leonui, sworn, I have seen this house lot at Kulahuhu of Mapulehu by Molokai and I have filed a claim, but today I am returning it to Kahaule and I shall live under him just as I had done previously. The decision was that Kahaule shall have the claim and Leonui shall live under him just as Leonui has stated above.
