Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in the Ahupua`a of Mapulehu on the Island of Molokai. The name of this `ili is Haleokane. Papala, for Kahaka is the `ili on the mauka side, and Kahoonoho, for Manoha, is the `ili on the makai side. The length is 179 fathoms and the width is 73 fathoms. This is kula land.
A portion of this `ili with taro lo`is has a portion for Pupule on the west, and Palahamama, for Kaiheauau, is on the east. The length is 65 fathoms and ....
