The Land Commissioners, greetings: I, Kaalae, a Hawaiian subject living at Paa on the island of Kauai hereby state my claim for land. There are 7 lo`i, also a kula, and also a cultivated place in the bulrushes. it is offshoots of taro. The measurement of the kula is 275 on the north and the same on the east, south and west. There are four plantings of pahupahu /offshoots of taro/. Respectfully,
