The Land Commission: This letter is from Koula. 60 fathoms is the length, and 1 yard, 56 fathoms is the width, and 1 yard. That is the measurement of the lo`i and the house on the east. On the west also is a lo`i. It is 2 chains in length, the width is the same. It is finished.

Land from Kaumualii to Kalaipaka, then from Kalaipaka to Koula in 1848. No problems with the six lois, but the tax assessor objected to the seventh loi and took it in 1839, without the consent of Kalaipaka, so Koula feels he should have it at this time.
