Gentlemen,
1. the undersigned duly appointed administrators of the estate of the late George Wilkinson, a subject of Great Britain, formerly a resident of the Sandwich Islands, respectfully beg leave to submit before the Honorable board of Commissioners for and in behalf of Thomas Wilkinson, a minor, son and heir of the deceased, and Luisa, his mother, widow of the said George Wilkinson, the accompanying copy of a deed executed by James Ruddock, a resident of the Sandwich Islands, in favor of the deceased, dated 27th February 1843. The tenure by which they hold the premises therein described.
2. Also the following claim to a certain house & house lot situated in the street leading from the wharf to Nuuanu at present leased & occupied by Tyhoun, a Chinaman, at a certain yearly rent, which rent is received and appropriated by the undersigned for the use and benefit of the said Thomas Wilkinson & his mother.
Said Property has been in possession of the family of the deceased about six years, and formerly belonged to Kalunaaina, a relative of the deceased's wife, and by him given to her husband for pecuniary and other considerations received at his hands, ....

.... undisturbed possession of it till his death at Valparaiso in '46 or '47. At his death I handed over his will then in my possession to Messers Thompson & Montgomery, his executors.
The mauka lot was bought by Wilkinson from James Ruddock.
It is bounded:
Makai by Merrill's premises
Ewa side by French Mission land
Mauka by Kekuanaoa's land
Waikiki side by Nuuanu Street.
This lot was purchased from Ruddock in 1843. I advanced the funds. Wilkinson left here in 1844 and from then till his death, I collected the rents of the two lots & forwarded the money to him. By his will, I believe, he left his property to his children & in case of their death to his wife. His wife and all his children except his son Thomas C. Wilkinson, now sixteen years of age, are dead.
S. Thompson, sworn, says he and I. Montgomery were the executors named in Wilkinson's will. As executors I have had charge of the two house lots since Wilkinson's wife returned from Valparaiso.
The mauka lot was leased by me to a man by the name of Brewster about 6 years ago. A Portuguese called Paiko holds it now. The boundaries of both lots as given by Dr. Rooke are correct, I believe. The only one of Wilkinson's family now alive is his son Thomas.
