No. 3413, Pooahi, Wahiawa, Kauai, January 13, 1848
N.R. 48v9
The Land Commissioners, greetings: I, Poohina, a Hawaiian subject living at Wahiawa, island of Kauai, hereby state my claim for land; however my claims are not situated in one place. Two lo`i are at Malolonui, 10 lo`i are at Kawaikapu, a kula adjoins them there. That ends my claim. It was from the time of Elia, to Makuku at present. That is my claim.
Respectfully.
POOAHI
