To the Land Commissioners: Here is my claim in the `Ili of Halaula II, with 28 lo`i and another place which is waste land, and our house site, under our makua, Nailiili, the lord of the `Ili under the konohikis. One lo`i is at Pohakuokauhi. The house site is bounded on the north by the lo`is, on the east and west by a watercourse, on the south by a road. That is our claim. 16 lo`i are for Kalehua, a widow, she is a makuahine to us, and under us; that ....
