[Kaiawe], Being sworn, declares that his land claim was duly written by Kekela, schoolmaster of Mahaulepu, at the time his neighbors were having theirs written; that his with theirs was duly sent to the Governor, then at Koloa, & forwarded to Oahu & that the Governor threw them away because, as he said, they were dirty & improperly written. Consequently his claim did not reach the Land Commission.
