D. Kalanikahua, sworn and stated, "It was I who wrote Kaaumoana's claim and gave it to the land commissioners on January 10, 1848, and I have seen his land sections in Honolulu, Honolulu district.

Mauka, the merging of narrow roads
Waikiki, Kuakolu's lot
Makai, J. Booth's lot
Ewa, narrow street.

I have not known the boundaries of his taro land. It would be best to get that information from other witnesses."

Laakapu, sworn, We have known alike for Kalanikahua's house lot. The boundaries are correct and I have seen the two taro land sections:

.... I have not heard Hanaki had ever asked Kekuanaoa for that place. According to what I have heard and have seen that place is for Kaaumoana.

John Ii, sworn, Before she /Kaaumoana/ died, ten days before perhaps, she sent me a verbal request to go and talk to her, so I did and when I got to her, she said, "Maybe I am going to die; therefore, I had sent for you so we can talk together. This is my new place, my old house lot is gone. I have filed a claim with the land officers for this house lot, but it has not been announced. You would have heard had this work been done. My heir is my husband, Moo is the name." I asked her if she would write the bequest; she answered that I write and she would sign her name. I wrote the bequest and she signed her name before several witnesses.
