I, Kekoa, hereby present my claim for my lot to you. Here is how I got my lot. It was Kamoonohu's, Haia's first wahine. She died and I became Haia's wahine. When Haia died it became mine, and I have lived there ever since.

I, Kahikona, place my claim in your hands for my house lot. My right in this place was from the time my makuakane sailed here from Hawaii at the time of the Russians, for the war, this was the reason he came to Oahu. On arrival, they lived anywhere - there were no houses. When the trouble was ended, he sought a place and took this - it was overgrown with vegetation. He built a house and a fence and lived there. That is my claim.

.... ere in the year 1822 with his parent, Kekuamanoha. Kahikona and Kekoa had received this (land) from Kekuamanoha. Poki had given it to Kekuamanoha. He has built a wooden fence and a house and had dug a well. Now a mud wall has been built and six houses stand within (the lot) at the present time.
The lot that Kekoa has is at Kikihale. There are seven trees standing on my lot at this time. "I am thinking about relinquishing my interest in Kekuaonohi's lot, that is his place."
Kekuaonohi had received his interest from Kahekili; Kahekili from Kapapaakahi and Kapapaakahi had received his interest from me. There are two property holders there, one is Ono and the second is Kapule. No one else has interest there except Kahikona.
Kawaahua, sworn by the Word of God and stated, "I have known everything that Kuene and Maalahia have stated here regarding the fence. The horses [sic houses], trees, and the well and everything which has been said here."
Koiamai, sworn by the Word of God and stated: "My knowledge is similar to everything which has been said here."
