To the Land Commissioners and President of this Gathering: I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my claim for two lo`i in Paihoihowale's land in Keana, one in Paihu's land in Mikiola, and some kula in these lands -and some clumps of hala in Keawe's land. They are in Kaneohe, Island of Oahu.

.... formerly lived I the ili of Punaluu, and planted the lauhala trees himself though he has not lived in the ili for the last year.

Claimant's land was given him by Palu and Paeku, and Kaniau, I th year 1846. The land where the hala trees are was given by Kaniau in th year 1835 or about there.

Claimant's title has nto been disturbed to the present time, except the one taro patch in Mikiola, the konohiki has taken it during the past year, without any apparent reason.
