I, Makaiki, a subject of the Hawaiian Islands living at Wailua on the island of Kauai hereby state to you, the Land Commissioners, my own claim for land, 32 fathoms long by 22 fathoms wide. my house lot is 25 fathoms long by 18 fathoms wide. That is my own claim.
