The Land Commissioners, greetings, I Lae, a Hawaiian subject living at Koloa on the island of Kauai hereby state my claim for land to you. It is from ancient times to the present /under/ Paulo Kanoa. The size of that land is 80 chains /on the north?/, 228 chains on the west, 190 chains on the east, 332 chains on the south. I have another claim at Kae, for three lo`i and the scattered claims.
