To the Board of Land Commissioners, Gentlemen: I herewith annex a deed of a piece of land purchased from Jno Colcord as will be seen by said deed. You will please adjudicate upon said land according to the laws of the Hawaiian Islands.

Know all men by these presents that I, John N. Colcord, a citizen of United States of America, resident of Oahu, Sandwich Islands, for & in consideration of the sum of 5,500 $ dollars, in manner following, to wit: 2,000 dollars to me in hand paid by John G. Munn, a citizen of the United States of America, resident of Oahu, Sandwich Islands, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt to hereof, is hereby acknowledged; and of the farther sum o ....

Resolved that the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles be & is hereby authorized to award a fee simple title to John G. Munn for his house lot in Claim No. 3203 upon his paying the costs of the board, and the further sum of $100 for the Government right therein.
