Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claims for land: First. A land at Kewalo in Honolulu which I got in the time of Kaahumanu II. It was given to me by Ihu and I have occupied it from that time in peace, with no objections. This place has been surveyed and the diagram follows:

The survey begins on the corner adjoining the land of Kahaaui, and the land of Puha, the first side running
North 64°, East 1 chain 35 feet to the ko'ele of Pehu, then turning and running on the bank of this lo'i
North 32°, West 31 8/12 feet, turning
North 35°, East 41 4/12 feet to the land of Kaka, then turning and running along that land
North 56°, West 21 feet, turning
South 54°, West 8 feet, turning
North 55°, West 59 5/12 feet to the land of Wahinemake then turning and running along that land
South 36°, West 29 8/12 feet to the land of Puha then turning and running along that land
South 14°, East 22 5/12 feet, turning
South 37°, West 36 4/12 feet, turning
North 39° 30' West 45 6/12 feet to the ko'ele of Piikoi, then turning and running along this lo'i
South 21° West 31/?/ feet to the land of Puha, then turning again
to place of begin ....
