To the Honorable Land Commissioners, Greetings: We, the persons whose names are below, hereby state our claims for land at Kewalo in Hono-lulu. In the time when Kaahumanu I was living, several of us were given lands by Pekelo Kahikauila. When he died in the time of Kinau he gave land to several of us, however, one of us received his section of land after the death of Kinau. From that time we have lived on our sections of land in peace, with no one objecting. Our places have been surveyed all together, however, we are not the only ones within the survey - there are also some Government lo& ....

Haole, sworn, I have seen all of these people as mentioned above and the places for which they had claims. They have all died and their lands were turned over to the konohiki, Kamakee before the day he died. They have no heirs, but Kamakee is their niece by ancestry.
