To the Honorable Land Cormlssloners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land at Kewalo in Honolulu. This land is for my wahine from her former kane. The former kane got this land in the time of Kamehameha I. When he died, I took his wahine and also his land. I have held this land in peace, with no one objecting. This land has been surveyed and the diagram follows:

Namokueha's land from his wife, Kaaimahui in 1845. Kaaimahui had received it from her husband, Waiauia. Waiauia had obtained it at the time of Kaahumanu 1, and Namokueha continued to live there to this day, no disputes.
