Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claims for land. First, a land at Kapaloa in Honolulu, which I got in the time of Kamehameha I. I have held it in peace with no objections. This place has been surveyed, and the diagram follows:

North 34° East 5.00 chains, along the pali of Auwaiolimu, turning
North 61° 30' East 3 chains 33 feet, along the Government Fence, turning
North 78° 30' East 10. ....

The boundaries are:
Mauka, land of Kapule
Waikiki, Auwaiolimu land
Makai, land of Kekahuaina
Ewa, land of Kamamaka, Paniani and Keawe.
E. Kuhia had given him his land before 1839 and he has lived comfortably to the present time. No one has objected.
Kamamaka, sworn, We have known in the same way with the exception that there is one koele patch in there for the konohiki.
