To the Honorable Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claims for land, which are in Kewalo in Honolulu. My rights are from Kahikauwila, in the time when Kaahumanu I was alive. From that time I have occupied these places in peace with no objections. My claims are for two sections of taro land and also a pond. They have been surveyed and their diagram is below.

South 18° East 4 chains 19 10/12 feet; the land of Kamakeee adjoins on this side to the land called Kapaloa, thence turning and running between these lands
North 55° East 59 5/12 feet to the land of Haokekai, thence turning, and running betreen these lands
North 16° West 4 chains 2 8/12 feet to the land of Kanealii, thence turning, and running between these lands to the corner at which this survey began
South 72° West 59 5/12 feet.
