To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for a house lot in Honolulu, Island of Oahu. Its boundaries are shown on the diagram which is sent herewith, and the area. This is a very old right, from Kamehameha I. Naone gave me this place as a true bequest and my agreement with Naone is recorded on the document which I present here-with. There are four houses within this lot; one is my own house and three are for my friends. It was I who made the fence and this h ....

4 houses are standing there, 3 of which are for Waolani and 1 for Lapaula. Naone had given them both this lot to him and his sister, Akoni, to the two of them this lot by written bequest at the time of his death in 1848. Naone had received it a long time ago during the time of Kamehameha I and he has lived there to the present. No one has objected.
