To the Land Commissioners: I, Kahakualoa, have a claim for a mo'o which was from Laanui in the year l841. It is under Kealakaa, the konohiki of Laukihaa. The name of this mo'o is Laukihaalua. There are two lo'i, the third was possibly a kula. The boundaries of Laukihaalua are: on the north, the land of Haka, on the east, the land of Kahoohalahala, on the south, a kula, on the west, the land of Keawemuku. I desire to secure an award document, for my keikis, under the Seal of the Government.

L. Kuokoa, sworn, I know his [her] land, one apana, they are the 2 lo'i in the "jump" of Laukihaa Two, in Paalaa, Waialua.

Mauka, land of Hika
Waianae, kula of Kalia
Makai, land of Keawemuku
Koolaupoko, land of Hika.

His [Her] land was from Laanui in the time of Kinau and is undisputed. His [Her] heir is Kanekapu, his [her] son-in-law.

Kualohua, sworn, My knowledge of it is like that of Kuokoa's.
