To the Land Commissioners: I, Kaula, have some kihapais at Paalaa Ahupua`a. There are four of them. The first is Pohaku, with three lo`i, which has been held by me from the time of the death of Kamehameha I.

2. Kaakaawaihae, a house lot, which has been occupied by me the same as that land of Pohaku.

3. Loaa. It is at Kapaaloa, with three lo`i. It was from Haupu.

4. Noi, at Kaniakaula, with five lo`i. Loaa has been mine for 15 years, and Noi has been mine for 11½ years. This land was from Pupae-ole. The boundaries of these lands: Pohaku: north, Maio's /land/, south, the kula of Opele, west, Ka-p ....

Mauka, konohiki lo`i for government;
Waianae, lo`i for konohiki
Makai, Kamakaula mo`o
Koolaupoko, watercourse.

Pohaku and Kaakuauwaihau were from the parents, to Kapuni. Loaa was from Haupu. Noi was from Pupaeaole. This land is undisputed.
