To the Land Commissioners, Greetings and the peace of God: I hereby state my claim for land in the `lli at Kahehuna in Honolulu, Island of Oahu, a mo`o with 6 lo`i. The boundaries are: on the north, the po`alima Kaunuohua, on the south, the lo`i of Kuaana, on the east, the flowing watercourse along the road. I got this claim before the law was published.

.... that Kiapea had transferred this place to Kaniho, his punalua because Kiapea's land had been from Kaniho anyway. Kahula's land had been from Kaniho and this was certified by the land officers. The boundaries are the same as Kapoi has related and since the time Kiapea had transmitted the land, to the present time, the heirs of Kaniho have retained this land. It is not with Kaniho, nor with Kahula and their heirs have not cultivated in the least to this day.
