To the Land Commissioners: I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my claim for land which is in the land of the konohiki, Keaku. The `ili is Kalokoeli, there are 2 taro lo`i, which are in the north of the land of Paele, also there is a watercourse adjacent to the po`alima. My house is at Waikalua.

Kailua by the land of Oneawa.
The above (No. 3) contains a large piece of upland in Kaneohe toward the side on the extreme point, but his claim does not appear to be good to this upland. Claimant's land is from Kekia in the year 1846. No one has disturbed him in his possessions.
Kauhalahoa testifies to the truth of the above witness.
