Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you, in the name of Mrs. John Young, Jr., of her `ili in Honolulu, and her place where our houses stand, which will be rebuilt.
1. This `ili at Kaoawai is named Kapahaha. It is bounded as follows: Makai and on the Waikiki side, is Kuwili and Kulahonu and Koiuiu. Kahawali is mauka, and the land of Kalunaaina. Kuhimana and Hauhau-koi are on the Ewa side. Those are the boundaries of the seawar ....

This place received from Wana, Wana had received it from Kalaimoku. The taro land received in 1828, the house lot section received from Kapouhiwa. Kanana has lived there to the present time without opposition.
