A petition to the Land Commissioners of the Independent Kingdom: I have a section of land at Halawa in Ahikuli, which is named Kipapa. I got it as follows: it was given to me by Kamailohi and Ulunahele in 1849. The witnesses are Ulunahele and Aole. That is my claim. Kaauwai has worked on this parcel of land. I petitioned to him because of the bad actions of my tenant on this section of land. He was fined $30, in the year 1845. It is finished.\Farewell to ....
