On Special Homestead Agreement
By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes know to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed unto DAVID KAHUHU or his heirs, for the consideration of his having paid into the Treasury the sum of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY Dollars, $250.00, and for the further consideration of his having complied with the terms and conditions of Special Homestead Agreement No. 783, all in accordance with the provisions of Section 73 of the Hawaiian Organic Act, and in pursuance of the provisions of Section 420 seq. of the Revised Laws of Hawaii of 1915, all of the land situate at WAIANAE HOMESTEADS in ....

.... xceeds eighty acres. Provided, that these prohibitions shall not apply to transfers or acquisitions by inheritance or between tenants in common. Any land in respect of which any of the foregoing provisions shall be violated shall forthwith be forfeited and resume the status of public land and may be recovered by the Territory or its successors in an action of ejectment or other appropriate proceedings."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The Governor of the Territory of Hawaii has hereto set his hand and caused the Great Seal of the Territory to be hereunto affixed, this sixth day of May, A.D. 1922.
