Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby enter my claim which was from the makuas, at Aipaako, `ili of Honolulu. There are two parcels of land.

Parcel 1. 5 lo`i mauka, within Aipaako.
Parcel 2. 1 dry lo`i plus house lot, plus kula, and the hala trees from the makuas.

The boundaries of parcel 1 are as follows: mauka, Kamaka and Hikiau, Waikiki, the watercourse of Aipaako and Hikiau, makai, Nihonui, Ewa, some lo is for the `ili of Kamakela.

Parcel 2: mauka, the lo i of Kamaka, Waikiki, the lo is of Kane in the ili of Kaolu, makai, Hohopa's lo`i, Ewa, the watercourse of Kunawai. This is an old ....

Kahoowaha, sworn, I have known the same way as Luiki has stated on the boundaries, the tie the land had been received and the bequested. From my understanding of this claim, it is truly for Kuiaia and Nihonui has no clear title. This place was not given permanently. Nihonui had custody only of this place for Kuiaia. That was Hamea's bequest on the day of his death. Nihonui's claim was not valid.

Decision: The land is for G.D. Kuiaia. Nihonui has no land.
