On SPECIAL HOMESTEAD AGREEMENT
By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed unto ALEXANDER SOARES, for the consideration of TWENTY HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN 65/100 Dollars ($2077.65), paid into the Treasury, and in conformity with the provisions of Section 359 of the Revised Laws of Hawaii of 1915, and for the further consideration of his having complied with the terms and conditions of Special Homestead Agreement No. 1450, all of the land situate at LEPOLOA-KAUNIHO HOMESTEADS in the District of NORTH HILO, ....

.... e combined area of which and the land in question exceeds eighty acres: Provided, That these prohibitions shall not apply to transfers or acquisitions by inheritance or between tenants in common. Any land in respect of which any of the foregoing provisions shall be violated shall forthwith be forfeited and resume the ejectment other appropriate proceedings."
