By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws
of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed unto PIKO BELL, for the consideration of THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR Dollars ($384.00), paid into the Treasury, And for the further consideration of his having complied with the terms and conditions of Special Homestead Agreement No. 937, made in pursuance of the provision of Section 276 of the Revised Laws of 1905, and of Section 73 of the Organic Act, all of the land situate at PUUKAPU in the Dis ....

.... in question exceeds eighty acres: Provided, That these prohibitions shall not apply to transfers or acquisitions by inheritance or between tenants in common. Any land in respect of which any of the foregoing provisions shall be violated shall forthwith be forfeited and resume the ejectment other appropriate proceedings.”
