To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: /I have held my land from the time of/ Kamehameha I to this day on which I petition you for my claims for my 4 lo'i and my house lot. In the 'ili of Waiape are 4 lo'i which are not together. One adjoins the lo'is of Opu, Naahu, Kumuhonua and Makea. One lo'i adjoins those of Kihewa, and Kapaula. The konohiki is on one side. One lo'i adjoins that of Kuaikoiia; the konohiki is on one side, and pali. 1 house lot is in the 'ili of Punaluu in Kaneohe, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the church and the school house, on the east by the houses of Kumohonua, on the south by the houses of Kapaula and Kihewa, There are two pastures.

No. 3 is bounded:
Mauka by the ili of Waiape
Koolauloa by the church lot
Makai by my house lot
Kailua by the house lot of Kapaula.

This lot includes three houses, namely, the claimant's, Hoonaulu's, and Paikane's. Hoonaulu and Paikane live under Pehu.

The claimant received Nos 1 & 2 from Jack Harbottle in the days of Kamehameha I and held them in peace up to his death in 1849. His heir is Pahia, his widow. No. 3 he received in the days of old Paulo Manini, when Kaina was agent before Kinau's death, and held it in peace up to his death. His widow, Pahia, now possesses it.
