To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: /I have held my land/ from Kamehameha III to this day on which I petition for my 7 lo'i in the 'ili of Hawaiikapoki in Kaneohe, Division 6, Island of Oahu. The lo'is are all gathered together in one place and are next to those of Alapai, Keahuala and Makaulaula. There is also a small kula.

.... ithin this last year, when Alapai took away No. 3. Alapai took it away because he wished to, I know of no other reason. He might have taken away the remaining six lois as well as this one.
Wahaulaula, sworn, says I am a resident of Kaneohe and one of the hoaainas of Waikapoki. I know the kalo patch in dispute between Hoonaulu and Alapai. It was given to him by Alapai about 3 or 4 years since and he held it in peace until this year, when Alapai took it away. Why he did so, I know not, as the man went to his poalima and paid all the taxes.
(The claimant said Alapai reserved the right to run his fish in the large loi in dispute, between the hills of kalo.)
