.... on it about 1846, for $10 per month, but they did not agree & when I was Acting Governor of Maui, Napahi bought the foreigner's house & got him off the land. At one time I went by order of the King to settle a dispute between Napahi & Kapau about their boundaries. I put them to rights & they agreed to it. I never knew that anyone else but Napahi had any right to this piece of land.
