To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land. I have is lo`i at Makiki in Waikiki. This place was given me by Keaalii in the year 1838 and I have held it in peace with no objec-tions.

.... aana at the time S. Kuluwailehua started to build Kikihale Wharf in 1840 or 1,robably the house lot from his parents, the parents had received it during the time of Kamehameha I, where they have always lived peacefully to the present time.
