By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in Conformity with the Laws of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed unto L.L. McCandless, for the consideration of One Dollars $1.00 paid into the Treasury.
And for the further consideration of a deed to the Government of the Territory of Hawaii of land situate in the City of Honolulu, Island of Oahu, required for the widening and extension of Streets from L.L. McCandless the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, all of the land situate at Waiahole, in the District of Koolaupoko, Island of Oahu, bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a concrete post at a point on mauka side of Main Government Road, at the North corner of this lot, adjoining Oii, Land Commission Award 104 [sic 105] to Wm. Walker, as shown on Government Survey Registered Map No. 2166, and running by true bearings:
