By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes known to all men that It has this day granted and confirmed unto A.C. Palfrey for the consideration of One Thousand One Hundred and Nineteen Dollars ($1119 00/100) paid into the Treasury And for the further consideration of his having complied with the terms and conditions of Part VII of the Land Act of 1895, all that piece of land situate at Maulua, in the District of Hilo, Island of Hawaii, and described as follows:
Lot No. 36, Public Lands Map No. 22
Beginning at a marked post at East angle, the coordinates being South 3075.7, West 137.5 feet referred to the Hawaiian Government Survey [triangle with dot in it = Trig] Station Puu Ohai, the boundary runs by the true meridian:
